Storeperson - Casual/Part Time
We’re looking for a positive, enthusiastic storeperson to join our team! This is a physically demanding job, with some heavy lifting involved.
HoursApprox 15 hours per week, with the possibility of it becoming a full time role.
Candidates must be able to work evenings, weekends and split shifts. You may also need to be able to work through December and January.
Job DescriptionAs a storeperson, your role will include a variety of jobs and responsibilities, including:
- Assisting on setting up and packing down of events
- Packing, maintenance, cleaning and preparing equipment, florals and supplies
- Packing florals and event items in a methodical and tidy manner into the vehicles
- Delivering and collecting orders and supplies
- Keeping the company cars clean and tidy
- Keeping the office and storeroom clean and tidy
- Other duties to support our team
Skills and Qualifications- You will need to demonstrate that you can work in a motivated and detail-oriented fashion
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have competent computer skills
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be physically fit and able to climb ladders
- Be able to work independently
- Have a full, clean drivers licence
- Ability to be flexible with your hours

Florist - Casual/Part Time
If you are a qualified, experienced and creative florist then we’d love to hear from you! As a florist at Kim Chan Events, you will help to create unique and amazing magic for our brides, corporate clients, private events as well as bouquets for delivery.
HoursThis is a part time position starting at 1 day per week. You will have the option of working within school hours.
Candidates will need to be able to work through December and January.
Job DescriptionAs a sustainable florist, your role will include:
- Creating bouquets and flowers for delivery
- Creating and designing floral arrangements – from flower walls to buttonholes
- Assisting with on-site floral setup and takedown
Skills and Qualifications- Have experience in the floral industry
- Be competent in creating bouquets, floral displays and other floral arrangements
- Be creative, passionate and share in our vision for sustainability
- Be able to work unassisted
Have a full, clean drivers licence
