Wow, June was a truly incredible month for us!  We hosted our first ever exhibition at MEETINGS2022 and were thrilled to win the Best New Exhibitor award!

We also had the opportunity to style a 100% sustainable exhibition for the Auckland Convention Bureau. After the event, our team personally delivered all the plants and trees to local community projects, gardens and schools. More details below.
This was such an amazing week for us and we are beyond excited to be moving forward with our team, our industry partners, and the clients we serve, side by side.

Our First Ever Exhibition at MEETINGS2022!

MEETINGS2022 was the first international exhibition to be held at Te Pae, our brand new, absolutely beautiful Christchurch convention centre! The event sold out quickly, and brought together business professionals from all around New Zealand and Australia.
We were so excited to create our first ever MEETINGS exhibition and feature not only our event styling, but also our sustainable business practices. What an exciting space to create and share with other businesses!
We also contributed to the MEETINGS opening ceremony with fresh spring flowers combined with beautiful artificial flower arrangements and large native trees. Continuing our sustainability theme, the native trees were hired and then returned to the nursery and the fresh spring flowers were reused throughout the event and then donated to Ronald McDonald and local rest homes.

100% Sustainable Event Theming - The Best of Both Worlds!

We’ve been talking about sustainability for years, in fact, we built our business on the pillars of sustainability and have been consistently working to create new and exciting ways to achieve this.

So when we were approached by the Auckland Convention Bureau to create 100% sustainable, edible, plantable, theming for their MEETINGS2022 exhibition, we were absolutely thrilled!

To achieve this, we used live plants, herbs, vegetables, natives and fruit trees. Many of the plants we pre-organised to ensure everything had a home – including sourcing butterfly plants for a local school with butterfly garden.

After the event, the native plants were donated to the Christchurch Foundation’s Tūī Project for regeneration of native birdlife in Christchurch. The herbs, vegetables, fruit trees and other plants were donated to local community gardens and schools.

“We worked closely with Kim Chan, Director at Kim Chan Events, and developed an exciting way of dressing the tradeshow stand with some long term positive benefits that reflected our values of sustainability and positive social impact.

Each plant displayed in the Auckland region was carefully selected for its ability to be reused and replanted. We then engaged with a variety of local community projects and charities to donate the native plants and edible trees to following the 2 day tradeshow.”
